Bio
I am from Boise, Idaho and attend Boise First Nazarene. I have two awesome younger brothers and the greatest dad and mom in the world. I love my family more than anything... I like being around them. I guess you could call me a homebody. I had lived in the same city and attended the same church my whole life. I had never changed schools and I pretty much had the same friends that I had since the day I was born. When I graduated from highschool I went all the way to Nampa, Idaho and NNU (20 miles away) for college. After two years of college and not knowing where to find my "passion", God decided to step in and mess up my life... in a good way. He sent me to Kenya for three months with a mission organization and it changed my life. I DID NOT want to go. I like sameness and comfort. God did something in my heart in Africa though. He gave me a passion for a lost world and his gospel that I never had before. He took away my fear of the unknown and my love for security and gave me a desire to llive on the "edge" for him. I recieved a clear call from God to his ministry and a new love for his Word while in Africa and when I returned my plans were for NNU in the fall with a major in Biblical Studies. Once again, God messed up my plans...this time in the form of Brent Deakins (we call him the "Lord`s Army Recruiter") and a date with destiny at the District Missionary Convention. I am excited to see how God is going to work in Peru over the next two years and am just glad to be "riding this wave" on the "edge" with Him.
