Living in Antofagasta, Chile has not been easy. We have encountered many difficulties to get here, overcame diverse situations, and we have grown as individuals as well as a church. As a missionary, it has been such an amazing experience to take part in this church plant. We’ve seen; this city transform into a home, the church of zero grow into a loving body of Christ, and God´s work in the lives of those around us.

This past Sunday, we celebrated 2 years on the mission field, a moment we were able to celebrate by the graduation of our disciples from the church’s first encounter. Not only did we complete our 2 year mark on Sunday, but it also marked the beginning of our last 100 days here in Antofagasta.

We have quite a busy schedule as we finish up here in Chile. We have 2 Encounters planned, one this month and one in September. There is more construction to do and we have to finish the first floor of our church. There are several large events planned around holidays and we have some visits from leadership. We know that this time is going to fly by faster than we expect. I personally hope that this time of transition goes smoothly with lots of grace for those who will take our places.

We ask for continued prayer for our leadership and those that will take over ministries, for our Pastors during this transition, and for us (the missionaries) to receive guidance from God and where we need to go next.
