Isaiah 58 talks about the promise of God to redeem all of creation when the people of God become the hands and feet of Jesus and advocate for, serve and love the poor, the marginalized and the oppressed. When the people of God live into and out of this Kingdom lifestyle, the prophet declares what will happen…

“Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your fram.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins,
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
– Isaiah 58:8-12

Thank you! Your sacrificial gift is helping the people of Manta as they struggle with the aftermath of the 7.8 earthquake last weekend.  Our relief team arrived Friday evening, April 22 and started handing out water, food, blankets, hygiene kits, and bibles.  That first night, they had almost 250 people in attendance in the streets as our pastor for the Manta church plant was able to provide a message of salvation and hope for the people of Manta.

We know this is just the beginning of the work God will do in Manta.

Our full church plant team is scheduled to be on the ground in about 2 months.  They will be continuing the efforts you started over the next two years to help the people of Manta rebuild their shaken lives. The work of this church plant will be a response to this devastating disaster for YEARS to come. And the opportunity to change their world begins in the changing of their hearts.

Because you give, hope can continue to be delivered.

The work of our Manta team will be unlike any other church plant we have ever launched.

Because of this, we are asking for individuals to consider becoming a Covenant Partner with Extreme and giving monthly to the Mission Fund for Manta. These dollars will go toward the mission and ministry of our church plant team in Manta, supporting their work in being the hands and feet of Jesus to a city that is desperately seeking hope and help as they rebuild their city.

We ask that you prayerfully consider giving to this cause on a monthly basis for the coming two years, ensuring this church plant begins well and is established for years to come.
Then we can say, “Because you gave, hope was delivered and a city and lives were restored.”
