Ibarra, Ecuador Church-plant Team:
Thank you for praying with us for God to help us raise up new leaders in the church. We recently had a local church assembly in which new leadership was elected for key ministry areas, and we saw God provide in a mighty way - filling holes left behind by our missionary team as we exit. Thank you, God, for hearing and helping us!
Recently, our cluster support family had to head back to The States due to the health of Cluster Coordinator, Kurtis Strunk. He was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and was in need of a specialist. Please pray for the Strunk family: Kurtis, Emily and their son Malachi, as they seek help in The US and exit Ibarra 3 months earlier than planned.
Please also pray for the four male 40/40 Missionaries the Strunks leave behind to finish the task. The unexpected change leaves them with much more responsibility before completing their contracts at the end of April.
Thank you for praying for the Antofagasta, Chile Team as the they began to work together as a new team in a new city dealing with three different cultures.
Please be in prayer for the Manta Team as they are beginning to arrive to Quito, Ecuador. The North Americans are starting language training, and will need to adjust to the new culture.
Pray that the transition of the training to new leadership during the this team won't affect the quality of the training that they will be receiving. Pray that all involved will be filled with the Spirit, open and receptive to what He wants to do.
Cordoba, Argentina Church-plant Team:
