I grew up a local farm boy in a little town of 3,000 called Georgetown, IL. With great Christian role-models for parents, I was always influenced to be very involved in many of the Illinois District events. During a service at NYC `99, God called me to be His. At that time, I didn't fully understand what exactly that meant. As High School came and went, I grew more and more in my relationship with Christ. I was always wondering what the next step was and I was willing to jump in whatever direction called, but I still had no direction. Once at Olivet, I was able to join with other students and go on mission trips over my spring breaks. At that point, I began to understand what passion was. I could do nothing without relating it to the mission field. Everything I talked about and everything I did, it seemed to be related to experience I had gained from these spring break trips. I wanted to be involved with missions and got the `Green Light` from the `Big Guy`. In February 2007, I felt a very large thumb in my back pushing me to go to Argentina. To make a long story short, I obeyed and hit the mission field with Mission Corps in January 2008. I volunteered in the World Mission Communication Department in Pilar, Argentina, outside of Buenos Aires. During my time there, our office hosted Extreme `08. During the event, I felt that same thumb in my back to get involved once again. God gave me a new direction in my life and, it was with Extreme. I served as the Olivet Zone Coordinator connecting with pastors and churches in the four-state zone for about a year and a half until God called me back to the field. I served in Peru, as the Extreme Peru Impact Co-Lead, from November 2009 until July 2010. During that time, God really pushed and developed me to grow in many areas of life and my spiritual walk with Him. With new direction, after moving back home, I was married to the love of my life, Sarah Jo, on October 16th. I have again joined the Mobilization Team and am now working and living in the Nashville, TN area. So, here I am,taking one step at a time, like I always do. I am excited for what God has done so far in my life, and even more excited for what He will do next. I am grateful for the 100% support of my family. I also give thanks to my local church and extended church family. Even more so, I thank Sarah Jo and her love and support. Thank you all so much for being involved in my life and with what God is doing around the world!!!
