At 17 years old, I was truly confronted by God. I accepted Christ as the Lord of my life, I fell surrendered at his feet, and I decided to believe in God. My life has taken a new direction since then and I have had goals, dreams, desires, something worth fighting for, and most of all the inspirations to make an effort. I gave God my youth and my dreams, and thus began my spiritual battle. But I have seen all these years the land of God and his provision, both spiritual and economic--even down to providing food in my home. Everything I have lived and continue to live with Him is supernatural.
I always remember a sermon called, "Called and Confirmed," which says the first thing on must do is pray, second to listen to the Spirit, and third to do the will of God (Obedience). That day I told God, "Here I am, and I am willing to go and be used by you." When the missionaries spoke about the call of God, God confirmed that, yes, he does want to use me, and that it is I who must go and share the good news. I continue preparing myself, and I am willing to go and be a servant, doing whatever God wants me to. I want to serve with my whole life, and I am aware that wherever I go, whether I am there or here, God has a purpose for my life, changing hearts that are willing to follow Christ.
