Chris and Anndee Stringer met as teenagers at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers, Arkansas. They began dating in High School and attended Southern Nazarene University together. Chris has a degree in Psychology and Anndee has a degree in English. They were married in 2001. God confirmed Chris’s call to ministry in early 2003. Then Stringers served in Palermo, Italy, with Nazarenes in Voluntary Service in 2003-2004.
After Italy, they returned to Rogers and God’s been busy in their lives. They have two amazing daughters, Genevieve (age nine) and Juliana (age three). In 2009, God called Anndee to prepare for the ministry. Now both are district licensed in the North Arkansas District.
In December of 2013, they finished their first term with Extreme as Cluster Coordinators for a team of missionaries in Arequipa, Peru. In 2013, Chris took a new role with Extreme as Short-Term Missions Manager. Anndee also took a position working alongside him as Short-Term Missions Communications Coordinator. They had plans to move to Quito, Ecuador in the summer of 2013. In the spring, a door of opportunity opened for them to move to Ambato, Ecuador to act again as Cluster Coordinators for the final nine months of the church-planting team there. They moved in July of 2014 and lived there until February of 2015, fulfilling both roles with the cluster and short-term. Again, they had plans to move to Quito in the summer of 2015 to continue the work with short-term. A last-minute change took them to Cordoba, Argentina to again serve as Cluster Coordinators for the church-planting team there, as well as the short-term duties. Their term will end in Cordoba in April 2017.
